PBIS
What is PBIS?
Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is a school-wide framework that aims to improve student outcomes by creating a safe and effective learning environment:
Systems approach: PBIS establishes a positive student culture and individualized behavior supports
Proactive: PBIS proactively teaches the behaviors that schools want
Data-driven: PBIS collects and uses data to guide decision-making

French Run Elementary School has achieved the Ohio PBIS Bronze Recognition level for 2023-2024. A PBIS Bronze Award is a recognition given to a school that demonstrates a foundational level of implementation of Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS), signifying their commitment to creating a positive school climate by establishing a comprehensive system of behavioral supports.
